This role requires tailors and machinists to have experience in clothing alterations and repairs. LookSmart aims at providing high quality service and require our tailors and sewing machinists to have an eye for detail ensuring delivery of the highest standards. Applicants will also need to have knowledge of current fashion trends, styles and body shapes to be able to help communicate and advise customers of options and best fit when required. This exciting position will be a gateway for future prospects within the company.

• Dressmaking experience is a bonus

Fantastic communications skills is a must as you will not only be looking after customers but also communicating with our tailors and sewing machinists. You must have an eye for detail and ensure tailors and sewing machinists have all the details to execute a flawless job on customer’s orders. • Customer service experience in similar industry required
• Must speak, write and understand English
• Computer (POS) skills are required
• Ability to work under pressure and be a team player
• Tailoring and garment pinning skills preferred but not required
This role requires highly motivated dedicated individuals who are success driven and can work under pressure. The ideal applicant will have a passion for fashion and a drive to succeed in meeting and exceeding targets. You will need to be flexible with availability to work across a 7 day roster.
The role consist of the day to day running of the shop which includes the following below but not limited to:
• Opening and closing of shop
• Managing workflow for smooth operation
• Training staff and enforce operations guidelines
• Assist in staff roster
• Invoicing and banking at store level
• Liaising with Head Office to ensure high productivity and performance
• Stock control
The following are required:
• At least 5 years experience in a similar position in the fashion retail industry
• Customer service skills required
• Must speak, write and understand English
• Computer skills are required
• Fashion or tailoring experience is a bonus
